[well seeing someone be skewered sure sucked but you know who has great coping methods? belph does! but for once, it's not drinking.
it's making other people miserable.
like akechi.]
I didn't know you were allergic to physical contact, detective.
|
[after all those people expressing relief that sousei's alive, have a shithead.
not that belph isn't glad, even if this guy apparently has a poor relationship with his partner—a life is a life, and something to be preserved—but you know. he's not that mushy. so.]
You look like a guy who needs a drink! ... Or sleep. Maybe sleep more.
|
[yoooo jae-ha aka i'm too lazy to figure out the setting for this pc but it's happening somewhere.]
I feel like we should be throwing a party.
|
[hey, fitzy—er, francis.
belph looks tired, but he manages a lopsided smile when he sees fitzgerald.]
So, what'd you think?
[of the trial, that is.]
|
['sup, jae-ha.]
Looks like we might not get that drinking competition after all, huh?
|
[by the time belph trucks on back to his and shirasu's room, he's tired, because wow, today sure sucks.
anyway, whenever shirasu gets back, belph is at his piano, playing a song. when he notices shirasu's presence, though, he pauses.
hey, partner.] | |
|
[the war has begun.
...
belph's face is empty as he wanders the halls. when he spots eichi, who is clearly perfectly fine, he pauses—he's not quite sure yet whether or not to make his presence known. after a few moments, however, he finally speaks up.]
Hey. | |
|
[so that all sure just happened.
... honestly, it's not like he knew gi-gan that well, or her partner, or jae-ha, but...
well, whatever. when he sees akechi, his expression is empty.]
Ready to get to work, detective?
|
[well, they're all trapped in murder castle, so. might as well get to know the people who might stab him one day.
it's why, when he sees sandalphon gazing longingly out the window, remembering a sadder, gayer time (?), he pauses.]
Getting claustrophobic in here?
