Ah - well I'm hardly a common thing in my world, so you'd be in the same place as many people.

[ . . . ]

That's a very long answer. Would you like the beginning, middle, or near-end?

Hiryuu, the Red Dragon, chose one day to become human - but he ran into a few problems. So the dragon gods, who loved him dearly, begged him to return to the heavens with them. When he refused, they chose humans to become their counterparts as the Dragon Warriors.

Those humans were then bound to serve, protect, and love King HIryuu for as long as they lived - and even after they died, the dragon's blood continued to pick successors from the villages the dragons were in.

I'm the latest incarnation of the Green Dragon, gifted with a leg that can let me soar into the heavens.

[that sounds interesting enough right]

It does, doesn't it?

But ah - that's all I've ever known. I don't really care to follow any of those prophecies, though.

Never.

[such an easy response]

It's a bit worse than that - the dragon's blood tells me exactly where I'm meant to go, who I'm supposed to serve.... it's really quite ugly.
