anyhow, belph's called them all here, because it's time to be on the same page before murder night, basically. some threads with the crafters are ongoing for us probably but!!]

Tiger-sama was vague about how much ink would be necessary, though. Both of them are too goddamn stubborn to just give us a hard number.
... Except Dragon-sama, I guess, but last I talked to her, she wasn't keen on trying to... I dunno, combine their endings, somehow.

Dragon-san has told me that it is the past Tiger-san wishes to change. She emphasized that should Tiger-san rewrite her history, there would certainly not be enough ink for us.
[. . .]
However. . .
[another pause, and he recites something, like he's recalling from memory exactly what Dragon said]
"If you would want to write a new story - as long as the Dragon and Tiger both exist in it - you may try to grant her some freedom from this."
Which I believe means that there may be a way for us to rewrite a future for both of them. Perhaps one where neither of them are bound or constrained by their current titles.

[Hm]
Yeah, Tiger-sama is... stubborn about fixing the past. She'd never admit it, but her entire identity is tied into finishing this war she started.
Never pitched the idea of rewriting her future, though. How much ink would that require?

The implication was that we would have enough, both for those on the Other Side and the Crafters' futures.
. . . and surprisingly, Dragon-san didn't seem opposed to the idea.

[ since reviving the dead and leaving the castle are two different things. ]

[a beat]
Adventure.

[ ink costs make no sense to her and she hates having to think about it. ]

[???]
It's impossible for one to change the past where I come from, but the future is always full of unlimited potential. It's easier to paint upon a blank canvas than it is to alter an already completed picture, correct?

[ i'm sorry..... ]

. . . I see.

[ just. im sorry for comic bullshit ]

Even with time travel available, I imagine changing the past still isn't easy. What of time paradoxes? What of far-reaching consequences that may alter the future in undesirable ways?
So, yes. . . I believe that is the point.

Right.
[ she's going to end this here. save her from time travel conversations. ]
