The book beat me to it, but whatever. Get Ion and Veronica to make sure no one does any independent kills this week. Make it an entire PSA if they want—if it comes down to it, better that people volunteer to die than we go around killing in a blind attempt to cull the numbers.

Tiger was pretty adamant about wanting to live. So, uh, if everything goes well and we get Dragon's ending please be prepared for Tiger to attempt to murder her first?

Yeah, she... really wanted to drive the point home that she's a sore loser.

[ so. hopefully that won't become a thing since steph is not sure if that might affect things for them. ]

Great. So, what if Tiger wins? Is she going to kill Dragon?

[vigilantics]

Yup.

[ this is actually something she doesn't want to tell him, and there's a moment of hesitation before she answers. ]

Because Dragon wants her to.

... Okay. Why exactly, and how does Tiger know all this?

[vigilantics]

From what I gathered, it seems to be because Dragon is really committed to all of this being done properly? If she wins, the reason she still has to die is because she wants balance. Dragon can't exist without Tiger, etc. But Tiger doesn't care about that. And Dragon is aware of it, so she'd accept the death, even if it's not the specific one she would prefer.

I don't think they even know? Tiger doesn't even remember everything, they've been at it for so long.

Great. Then why do they have to keep continuing it?

[vigilantics]

Because it's all they know, apparently. Tiger said the reason she even started doing this don't even apply to her anymore but she's been at it for so long she can't imagine stopping.

I guess if Dragon decides that she doesn't want to kill Tiger, we could avoid all of that? She kind of sounded like she's pretty done though, at our last meeting.

Yeah, I don't think this is going to end without at least one death.

I mean, we already have had more than enough death. They really don't need to add anymore.
